You Can Help

A number of the oral history recordings in our collection have been transcribed. But many have not. We need your help to make these remarkable stories even more useful and accessible. We know you are interested in the preservation of these recordings. If you have some time to devote to listening to and transcribing the interviews, or just want to help us edit and proofread the work, your assistance would be greatly appreciated. Please contact the Jewish Historical Society of Delaware for information about helping our transcription effort.

The interview I'm looking for isn't listed

Our Oral History Highlights Exhibit represents many of the more than 150 interviews in our collection. We continue to add interviews as quickly as we can, but if you can't wait let us know. We will be happy to move the interview up on our priority list when we know that you are eager to listen to it. We also welcome volunteers and support to help us make our complete oral history collection available more quickly. Contact us today for more information.
