The Jewish Voice was founded in 1929 as a monthly publication by Rabbi Simon Krinsky in Hudson, New York. When Rabbi Krinsky moved to Wilmington, Delaware, he brought the newspaper with him. From 1943 until 1968, Rabbi Krinksy was the publisher and editor of The Jewish Voice.
Beginning with the issue of May 8, 1968, the Jewish Voice has been published by the Jewish Federation of Delaware.
