Awarded the Bronze Star for bravery in action

Throughout World War II, Pepsi-Cola provided recording booths where service members recorded phonographs containing a voice message to be mailed to loved ones back home. An early version of voice mail, the recordings connected families. Sam Geller and others sent recordings to Mollye.  He was married on December 14, 1941 to Artie Blatman’s sister Ida who also wrote to Mollye.
