Happy New Year. I hope this is the year that will end this titanic struggle which is slowly disintegrating this civilization.
Mollye, this is one beautiful spot. This hotel is surrounded by gigantic mountains (Allegheny). The air is pure and fresh and we have the
best drinking water in the country. This place was called Bedford Springs. People used to come here for their health. Of course I did too. I’m telling you its a Shangri-La. We have ice skating on our front lawn—a beautiful sight in the evenings; also toboggan sleds.
Well, I’m running out of words so I’ll close this letter now.
