Opening Ceremony at 5:45 PM

This exhibition explores major events of the war through the photographs, letters, and oral histories of everyday Americans. From the attack on Pearl Harbor through the GI Bill, the exhibition covers important events on the battlefield and the home front.

This exhibit will also feature selections from the collections of the
Delaware Historical Society, Delaware Public Archives, from
the “Dear Mollye” Collection of the Jewish Historical Society of Delaware,
and Delaware’s World War II Fallen.

Light Kosher Refreshments will be served.

Free on-street parking is available after 5 PM.

Wilmington is designated as Delaware’s American WWII Heritage City by the National Park Service.
